Edge celebrates 10 years of marketing, PR excellence

Lansing-based firm recognized as top MI, US agency

LANSING, Mich. – Edge Partnerships, a full-service marketing and public relations agency, this month celebrates a decade in business.

Located in a historic, two-story building in downtown Lansing, Edge serves a number of Michigan and national clients, including Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan, Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, Healthgrades, County Road Association of Michigan, Food Bank Council of Michigan, MiHIN and LeadingAge Michigan.

Founders Lorri Rishar, MBA, and Angela Witwer created the agency in 2007 with the mission of strategic leadership, excellence service and guaranteed results.

“We are celebrating a decade of wonderful clients, exceptional experiences and a team of professionals who bless us with their talents,” said Rishar.

Rishar and Witwer met at Sparrow Health System where they served as director and manager of community relations, respectively. They left their positions to create an agency unlike any other.

“We worked with so many different agencies and couldn’t find the one that truly valued partnerships … who were committed to our success,” said Witwer. “Edge clients are much more than a revenue source. They become our dear friends and part of the extended Edge family.”

The agency and its team has received numerous accolades over the past 10 years. Among those are Top 50 Michigan Companies to Watch, Entrepreneurs of the Year, Inc. magazine Top 500 U.S. Companies, and the Athena Award for organizational excellence. Rishar has earned recognition as a PRSA Pace Maker of the Year and Small Business Advocate of the Year. Witwer is serving her second term on the Waverly Board of Education. Two Edgers, Aaron Pumfery and Danielle Lenz, are Lansing Regional Chamber Top 10 Over 10 awardees.

Edge looks forward to the next decade as the agency continues to grow and diversify. In addition, Witwer has announced her candidacy for the House of Representatives in the 71st House District (Eaton County).

“The future definitely looks bright from the Edge. Thank you to all who have supported us on this amazing journey,” said Rishar.
